Fees and Reimbursement

Fees vary with the type of service that is provided. See the Fee Schedule, which will set out the costs associated with the provision of individual and group sessions, education sessions, staff supervision and report/s requested. In some cases, the fees can be adjusted to take into account some aspects of a client’s financial circumstances.

Private Health Insurance: We are a registered provider for Bermuda’s health insurance companies, which may cover all or part of the cost of treatment.  As the availability and type of reimbursement varies across the different insurance companies and the type of cover that you have purchased, you would need to contact your particular health insurance provider to determine your eligibility for reimbursement.

Changed Appointments: If you want to change or cancel an appointment, notice of one full working day (24 hours) is required. If you do not cancel your appointment within this time period (or fail to attend), a late cancellation will be incurred. Occasionally people are prevented from keeping an appointment because of sudden illness or unexpected emergencies. If this happens to you, please contact Equilibrium as soon as possible, and the fee will be waived.

Broken Appointments: If you do not give notice of your inability to attend before your scheduled time, your non-arrival will be treated as a broken appointment, and the full session fee will apply.
